Card Game Design: Queering Spacetime

From 2017-2020, I designed, marketed, and showcased a card game that started as a class project and became a wholesome award-winning dating sim about lovers destined across spacetime.

Some highlights:

  • Learned Illustrator to design layout, rules, and cards for award-winning, New York Times-featured card game
  • Selected for a scholarship to refine and publish under mentorship
  • Published on indie game platform Itch.io with 1,000+ downloads
  • Proactively applied to awards and festivals, including bundle raising $55k for diverse indie creators
  • Showcased in 7+ game festivals across North America & Australia
  • Followed guidelines to create print, image-based email designs, and digital web & social assets
